Women's Tennis Heads to No. 16 Arizona State
The Blue Demons and Sun Devils tangle at 2 p.m. on Wednesday

CHICAGO – The DePaul women’s tennis team returns to action after an 18-day layoff and travels No. 16 Arizona State on Wednesday for a 2 p.m. (CST) dual at the Whiteman Tennis Center in Tempe, Ariz.
The Blue Demons are led by the No. 65 doubles pair of Gia McKnight and Katarina Milinkovic. The duo is 9-5 on the season and 7-4 in the top doubles position. McKnight and Milinkovic have won their last two matches and are 1-2 against ranked opponents this season.
In singles action -- Christiana Raymond, Kelsey Lawson and Milinkovic all have recorded over 20 wins this season. Raymond paces the team with 21 victories and Lawson and Milinkovic follow with 20 victories apiece.
Milinkovic, who plays in the top singles position, boasts a 12-2 record in duals and has won her last four matches. The senior has 91 career singles wins including a pair of ranked opponents this season.
The Blue Demons will have their hands full against Arizona State who is coming off a pair of top 10 victories.
The Sun Devils have to two pairs ranked in the top 60 -- Kelcy McKenna and Micaela Hein are ranked No. 30 and Ashlee Brown and Sianna Simmons follow at 57.
In the singles rankings, Jacqueline Cako is No. 16 and McKenna follows at No. 17. Hannah James rounds out ASU’s ranked singles at No. 111.
Following DePaul dual in Arizona, the Blue Demons host Long Beach State on April 2 at the Lakeshore Athletic Club.
