Women's Tennis Faces Florida Atlantic
CHICAGO The No. 59 DePaul women’s tennis team heads south this week for a Thursday dual at Florida Atlantic. The Blue Demons challenge the Owls at noon (CST) in Boca Raton, Florida. DePaul (13-4, 3-0 BIG EAST) enters the dual on a four-match winning streak. The Blue Demons have defeated eight of their last nine opponents, most recently posting a 6-1 victory over Illinois State on Sunday, March 9. Through 17 duals, junior Dunja Antunovic holds an 8-7 record in the top singles match and senior Gergana Ganeva carries a 10-6 record in the No. 2 match. Freshman Selma Salkovic boasts a 15-2 singles record on the spring, while sophomore Kirsten Gambrell has teamed up with Antunovic for 10 doubles wins. Florida Atlantic (3-12) enters the match after suffering a 6-1 home loss to No. 53 Dartmouth on Sunday.
