CHICAGO -- The No. 25 DePaul women's tennis team returns to the hard courts tomorrow afternoon in San Diego, Calif., when it takes on Point Loma Nazarene.

For the Blue Demons (16-1), the match marks their first since knocking off No. 34 Indiana on March 8 in Bloomington, Ind. The 5-2 victory at Indiana was DePaul's 15th consecutive win. 

Winners of four straight, Point Loma Nazarene comes into the match at 9-7 overall.

DePaul climbed 10 spots in the latest ITA National Tennis Poll (March 25). It is the the team's highest ranking of the season; the Blue Demons came into the year unranked. In addition, Ana Vladutu moved to No. 97 in the singles poll while Patricia Fargas broke into the ranking at No. 125.

As a team, DePaul is 78-16 in individual dual singles matches and an impressive 34-9 in dual doubles play. Two Blue Demons, Rebeca Mitrea and Kelsey Lawson, currently carry double-digit winning streaks into San Diego. Lawson, is 14-1 in dual singles matches and has won 10 straight, while Mitrea is 15-1 in dual play, holding a remarkable 14-match winning streak.

The Point Loma match is DePaul's third-to-last road match of the regular season. On April 5, the Blue Demons take on No. 30 Rice before wrapping up their road schedule at No. 27 Houston the next day. DePaul's final two regular season matches come at home on April 13 and April 19 against Cincinnati and Marquette, respectively.

The Point Loma Nazarene match is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. CST Thursday.
