DePaul hosts Long Beach State on Saturday before playing Texas A&M on Sunday in South Bend

Weekly Women's Tennis Notes 
CHICAGO -- After spending a week in Arizona training the DePaul women’s tennis team returns to the Lakeshore Athletic Club on Saturday to host No. 44 Long Beach State at 2 p.m. The Blue Demons then travel to South Bend, Ind. for a match with No. 32 Texas A&M on Sunday at Notre Dame’s Eck Tennis Pavilion.
The Blue Demons (10-7), who are in the midst of one of the most challenging schedules in the program’s history, are facing their 10th and 11th ranked teams of the season this weekend. DePaul is 2-7 against ranked teams while it is 2-3 against team’s ranked between No. 31 - No. 64 at the time of competition.
DePaul is led by senior Katarina Milinkovic and freshman Christiana Raymond. Milinkovic is 20-11 in singles matches while the senior is 12-3 when playing in the top singles positions. Raymond boasts a 21-13 mark, while the freshman has seen action in the fourth, fifth and sixth positions.
DePaul’s No. 75 pair of Gia McKnight and Milinkovic is 9-6 this season and is 1-3 against ranked tandems.
Long Beach State (12-4) is finishing three-match Midwest trip on Saturday. The 49ers defeated UIC 5-2 on March 31 and played at Notre Dame on Friday. LBS is led by Anais Dallara, who is 21-7 in singles and boasts a 11-4 record in the No. 1 position.
Texas A&M (9-4) plays Notre Dame on Saturday, before its Sunday tilt with the Blue Demons. The Aggies are led by No. 34 Nazari Urbina in singles play. Urbina has a 21-7 singles record, including a 9-4 record at the No. 1 position.
Following this weekend’s matches the Blue Demons celebrate Senior Day on April 10 against Western Michigan at 1 p.m. At the conclusion of the match DePaul will celebrate the careers of Selma Salkovic and Milinkovic.
