Women's Tennis Loses Regular Season Finale
MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The DePaul women’s tennis fell, 7-0, to No. 2 Notre Dame on Saturday in a neutral-court BIG EAST dual. The Blue Demons dropped the doubles point and all six singles matches in their regular season finale.
No. 88 Dunja Antunovic came up short in a 6-1, 6-3 loss to Notre Dame’s Christian Thompson at No. 1 singles. The Blue Demon sophomore ends her regular season with a 24-5 singles record.
The second singles flight saw Kirsten Gambrell fall, 6-1, 6-2, to Colleen Rielley, while Anja Mihaldinec suffered a 6-0, 6-0 loss to Kelcy Tefft at No. 3 singles. Bojana Murisic dropped a 6-4, 6-2 decision to Kali Krisik in the fourth match, and Clare Chmiel lost, 6-0, 6-0, to Katie Potts at No. 5.
Playing shorthanded, DePaul forfeited the sixth singles match.
