2013-14 Campaign Begins Friday for Women's Tennis

CHICAGO — After wrapping up last spring with 15 wins, the DePaul women's tennis team begins its 2013-14 campaign this weekend at the Michigan Invitational in Ann Arbor, Mich.
Competition at the University of Michigan begins Friday (Sept. 20) morning at 9:30 a.m. ET.
DePaul opens the tournament with singles matches against the host Wolverines at 9:30 a.m. The Blue Demons follow with a round of singles matches against Arizona State at 2 p.m.
On Saturday (Sept. 21) morning, DePaul faces Michigan with a round of doubles matches at 9:30 a.m. before wrapping up the day with doubles play against Tulane at 11 a.m.
DePaul finishes things up in Ann Arbor on Sunday (Sept. 22) at 9:30 a.m. ET with doubles matches against Arizona State and a round of singles matches at 11 a.m. versus Notre Dame.
Six schools will participate in the event this weekend in Ann Arbor. Each team will play three rounds of singles and doubles matches. There will be up to eight flights of singles matches and four flights in the doubles rounds.
DePaul returns all nine players from last year's squad. The Michigan Invitational is the first of five events for the Blue Demons this fall.
