Rehusova Wins Title at Blue Demon Invitational
Sophomore is the only Blue Demon champion at season-opening tournament over the weekend.

CHICAGO – Sophomore Petra Rehusova opened the women’s tennis season by winning the Flight B singles title at the Blue Demon Invitational held over the weekend at the College of DuPage.

 

Rehusova defeated Melanie Humphrey of UIC in the final. Freshman Anja Mihaldinec finished fourth in Flight B as well.

 

In Flight A Beatrix Csordas defeated teammate Bojana Murisic for third place while Brenda Leung finished in 5th place. 

 

DePaul’s Clare Chmiel finished fourth in Flight C.

 

Rehusova and Mihadinec finsihed in third place in Flight A doubles while Bojana Murisic and Csordas took fourth.
