CHICAGO- The DePaul Volleyball team will host the DePaul Invitational this weekend at McGrath Arena. The Blue Demons begin play at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 10 against Radford. On Saturday the team will finish the tournament playing against Georgia State at 7 p.m.
The Blue Demons finished last weekend’s IUPUI Hampton Inn Invitational in 5th place and Rachel Aumann was a member of the all-tournament team. Aumann finished the tournament with a .333 (24-4-60) attack percentage and totaled nine blocks. Kate Letcher led the team with 35 kills and Katherine Knutson collected 68 digs over the four matches.

The Blue Demons are 1-0 against the 2010 DePaul Invitational participants... DePaul is 1-0 against Radford… DePaul will play Georgia State for the first time in the program history.
Records are Meant to be Broken
Christy Landschoots 98 assists in the IUPUI Hampton Inn Invitational moves her to 2,577 career assists which is 239 away from fourth on DePaul’s all-time record… Sheila Carrol is fourth on the all-time list with 2,816.
Double Digits Digs
Katherine Knutson has had six consecutive matches with double digit digs… Knutson averaged 4.86 digs per set in last weekend’s IUPUI Hampton Inn Invitational.
