Volleyball Falls To Northwestern In Chicagoland Classic

CHICAGO – Northwestern used a balanced offensive attack to beat DePaul 3-0 (30-18, 30-18, 30-24) in the Chicagoland Volleyball Classic on Saturday afternoon at the DePaul Athletic Center.

 

Junior Morgan Ingersoll led the DePaul attack with seven kills while freshman Christina Correa added six. Mandi Caputo dished out 12 assists for the Blue Demons who fell to 1-6. The Wildcats were led by Lindsay Anderson’s match-high 16 kills while Cassie McLaughlin added 11 as Northwestern improved to 5-1.

 

DePaul will face Loyola-Chicago in tonight’s final match at 7:00 p.m. in the Athletic Center.
