CHICAGO- The DePaul volleyball team travels to Chicago neighbor, Loyola, on Tuesday night. The teams are scheduled to play at 7 p.m. in Gentile Arena. Head coach Nadia Edwards and the Blue Demons look to improve their 1-1 away record and 2-6 season record.
The Blue Demons start off the busy week after hosting the DePaul Invitational. The two-day tournament featured Northwestern, Milwaukee, and Army.
Loyola will start the match against the Blue Demons with a 1-2 home record.

DePaul volleyball managed an important win over Loyola on Aug. 26, 2016. The season opener 3-1 (25-21, 21-25, 25-23, 25-17) victory started the Blue Demons' 2016 run. Brittany Maxwell had a team-high 13 kills for DePaul and was one of three Blue Demons to register double-digit digs with 10 to earn her first career double-double.
Scouting the Ramblers
After going 0-2 at the Marquette Invitational last weekend, Loyola enters the match with a 1-7 overall record. The Missouri Valley Conference picked Loyola fourth in the 2017 MVC Preseason Poll. During the 2016 season, the Ramblers took a 14-18 overall record, playing 4-6 at home.
