Volleyball Tournament Schedule Changed

Blue Demons to face UIC on Thursday, remainder of tournament to stay the same.

CHICAGO -- The schedule for the 2001 Blue Demon Volleyball Invitational has been changed it was announced by DePaul officials late Wednesday.

Conference USA has issued a policy that requires all league members to not participate in any competition on Friday. Therefore, the Blue Demons' tournament opener against UIC will be held on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the DePaul Athletic Center.

The remainder of the tournament will take place as scheduled on Friday with Mississippi State facing Toledo at 5 p.m. On Saturday, UIC will face Mississippi State at Noon, DePaul will play Toledo at 2 p.m. in the afternoon session. The evening session will have Toledo facing UIC at 5 p.m. and the Blue Demons meeting Mississippi State at 7 p.m.
