NEW YORK - Senior Natalie Rizzo made it three straight weeks with a BIG EAST weekly award for DePaul volleyball, earning a spot on the honor roll Monday afternoon.

The middle blocker, who ranks second in the conference in attack percentage (.401), was named to her second all-tournament team this past weekend at The Citadel Invitational. The BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll nomination is the first in her career and the second for DePaul this season.

Going 3-0 to take the tournament title at The Citadel, DePaul moved to 9-0 for the first time since 2001 behind another efficient weekend from Rizzo. The Lombard, Ill.-native never hit below .300 in the three matches, finishing the tournament at .367 with just six errors in 10 sets.

Against Radford, she had her best performance of the season thus far, exploding for a career-best 17 kills on a .382 attack percentage (17-4-34).

At the net, Rizzo led the team in total blocks (10) and currently ranks fourth in the BIG EAST (1.13 per set).

Next up for the Blue Demons will be their final weekend tournament of the season, the SIUE Cougar Invitational in Edwardsville, Ill.

DePaul will face SIUE to open the tourney on Friday, Sept. 20 at 7:00 p.m. CT and will wrap up the competition on Saturday against Georgia State at 10:00 a.m. CT and Arkansas Pine-Bluff at 4:30 p.m. CT.
