Volleyball Ranked Second In Region
CHICAGO -- The DePaul volleyball team is ranked second in the Midwest Volleyball Regional Ranking. The ranking is the highest any Blue Demon team has received in school history. DePaul is 11-1 on the season and stands in second place in Conference USA with a 3-0 record. The Blue Demons trail only Louisville (9-1 overall, 4-0 C-USA) in the rankings and the conference standings. NCAA MIDWEST VOLLEYBALL REGIONAL RANKING (Oct. 2, 2001) 1. UW Milwaukee (Horizon League 7-5, 3-1) 7. Wright State (Horizon League 11-2, 3-1) 8. Cincinnati (Conference USA 6-5, 3-1) 9. Southeast Missouri State (Ohio Valley 6-6, 4-1) 10. Houston (Conference USA 5-7, 2-2) DePaul next takes the court hosting C-USA foes Charlotte on Friday and East Carolina on Saturday. Both games begin at 7:00 at the DePaul Athletic Center.
