Charlotte Slips Past Volleyball
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – DePaul was taken down by Charlotte at the Halton Arena Friday night in four games (24-30, 30-23, 17-30, 27-30). The Blue Demons could not keep up with the 49ers who posted 62 team kills and 16 team blocks against them.
“It was another poor effort,” said Coach Dockstader. “We have to get it together for East Carolina.”
Lara Marks put down 18 kills and earned an impressive hitting percentage of .410. Janet Goreham added 17 kills for the Blue Demons and Amie West gave the offense 44 assists.
Dockstader and her crew head to Greenville, N.C. to play East Carolina on Saturday night.
