DePaul vs. Marquette

CHICAGO - Head coach Nadia Edwards and the DePaul volleyball team will celebrate the seniors on Saturday, Nov. 18 at a BIG EAST match-up with Marquette. The Blue Demons host the match at 1 p.m. with the senior ceremony to follow at McGrath-Phillips Arena.
DePaul is ranked tenth in the BIG EAST standings with a (8-21, 2-15 BIG EAST) season record. This weekend's match will be the final match of the Blue Demons' 2017 season.
Brittany Maxwell looks to challenge the 1,000th career kill, standing at 998 kills overall. She currently owns 365 kills this season.
Blue Demon Senior Squad
The six seniors to be recognized this Saturday include Rachel Breault, Haley Bueser, Caitlyn Coffey, Kelsey Horvath, Jameson MacPhie, and Myah Reed. Each senior competed for the DePaul volleyball team all four years of their collegiate athletic careers.
The senior day ceremony will take place after the match on the court of the McGrath-Phillips Arena. Seniors will be recognized with friends and family to celebrate this accomplishment.
Last Time vs. Marquette
The DePaul volleyball team fell to Marquette, 3-0 (19-25, 9-25, 28-30), on Sept. 30. Brittany Maxwell led the Blue Demons with 11 kills and 44 attacks. Kelsey Horvath followed with 16 assists and Haley Bueser contributing 15 digs. Ashley Marshall made her season debut, helping with 16 attacks.
Scouting The Golden Eagles
Marquette makes the trek down to Chicago with a (20-8, 14-3 BIG EAST) season record. Last week, Marquette went 2-0 at home against BIG EAST foes Georgetown and Villanova. This weekend marks the Golden Eagles last regular season match before the BIG EAST Conference Tournament.
