The practice of storming the court will not be tolerated as it is a serious safety issue for all spectators and staff in the arena. The DePaul University Athletics Department asks that you comply with this BIG EAST Conference regulation as it is meant to ensure the safety of all participants and spectators.
Thank you for your support and Go Blue Demons!
Why was the fee created?
In the recent past, many DePaul students have avidly followed the Blue Demons and taken advantage of relatively low ticket prices ($5 for men's basketball). Other students felt they should not spend dollars on "entertainment," not realizing that they were also missing an important part of the university experience.
Every student is part of the DePaul community. Group activities foster that bond and help students network and forge friendships across academic programs and degree levels. The intent of the fee is to encourage as many students as possible to attend games and spirit-building activities.
